Fonts and Macros for typesetting Polish
installation module for BaKoMa TeX 8

This module includes LaTeX styles and fonts for preparing Polish documents.
  • MeX - Plain TeX adapted for Polish
  • PLaTeX - LaTeX adapted for Polish
  • PLPS Fonts - Polish CM fonts (extended by Polish letters) in Type 1 font format.
  • Quasi Fonts - Clones of Standard PS fonts in Polish friendly encoding.
  • Antykwa Fonts - More Polish Fonts.

This module installs they under BaKoMa TeX 8.0 and later.
To install the fonts/macros just open the POLISH.BKZ unit.

After installing this module and restarting the BaKoMa Text Editor, you should find new items in the 'TeX Formats' menu:

  • MeX
  • PLaTeX

Configuring BaKoMa TeX

  • Options|Editing Settings|Script/Font
    Choose input encoding of your document: CP1250 (ANSI Latin 2) or CP28592 (ISO Latin 2)
  • Options|TeX Running Parameters -- Internal TeX Encoding
    To enable TCX (required when inputenc isn't used) you must just set Internal TeX Encoding to QX -- encoding of most polish fonts.
  • Note: beginning from V 8.0 additional keyboard mappers (such as Eng/CE) are not required.
